Preparation for the ASM

 

1. Please refer to this official website for the latest announcements and reminders for the ASM. 

 

2. Programme book and event details are available on this official website.

 

3. You are advised to update your Zoom software to the latest version before the meeting to avoid technical errors.

4. Please kindly try the personalised Zoom link on your intended device for participation 1-2 days before the meeting to ensure proper functioning of the link. You will see "Please wait/waiting for the host to start this webinar/meeting" if the link is functioning

5. One-link-for-one-device only. Only one device can be logged into the meeting at one time with the link given to you.

 

Attendance record

 

1. Attendance (Time and duration) will be recorded once you use the personalised Zoom link to join the ASM. 

 

2. In case you join the ASM via your department's public account (not the above personalised Zoom link) , please kindly contact your department secretary to report your attendance and register CME/CNE within the same day of your attendance.

 

Attendance certificate

 

1. Attendance certificates in electronic form via email will be issued. It will only be issued if we have your attendance record AND your filled evaluation form. The link to the electronic evaluation form will be displayed in the virtual ASM and on this official website after the event.

 

2. The name shown in the attendance certificate will be the name you supplied in the evaluation form.

 

 

CME for local doctors

 

1. CME for local non-specialist and specialists affiliated to the following colleges will be available for CME registration

 

a. The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong (6 Passive CME points each day)

b. Hong Kong College of Physicians (1 Passive CME point for whole event)

c. Non-specialists (5 Passive CME points each day)

 

2. If you have supplied us your MCHK registration number during ASM registration, CME points will be credited according to the attendance records mentioned above.

 

3. In case you have not supplied us your MCHK registration number, for HA Neurosurgery doctors, please kindly contact your department secretary for CME registration; for private/other doctors, please kindly contact our Secretariat for CME registration via email masls@ha.org.hk or tel +85224685402 / fax +85224569000 This has to be done within the same day of your attendance.

 

4. In case you join the ASM via your department's public account (not the above personalised Zoom link) , please kindly contact your department secretary to report your attendance and register CME within the same day of your attendance. 

 

CNE for local nurses

 

1. CNE points will be credited according to the Attendance Record mentioned above.  

 

2. In case you join the ASM via your department's public account (not the above personalised Zoom link) , please kindly contact your department secretary to report your attendance and register CNE within the same day of your attendance.

This is our first virtual ASM. We are eager to listen to your precious feedback to further improve this great annual event.  Please kindly fill in the evaluation form. The link to the electronic evaluation form will be displayed in the virtual ASM and on this official website after the event.
